1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files sent by the website's servers to the user's browser and stored on the browsing device (computer, smartphone, tablet). They are sent back to the website on subsequent visits or to third-party sites belonging to the same domain or partners, in order to recognise the session, store preferences or measure interaction.

2. Categories, purposes and legal basis
The website steel-glass.it distinguishes four groups of cookies, managed via a banner that does not require any prior blocking for essential technical cookies, but instead asks for a free, specific and revocable consent for profiling cookies:

4. Consent management and withdrawal
The cookie banner, displayed on first access, allows the user to make an explicit choice between:
- Accept: acceptance of all categories, technical + Marketing/Google profiling.
- Reject: rejection of all non-essential cookies; only technical cookies remain active.
- Customise: panel allowing individual categories (Meta Marketing, Google Marketing) to be turned on or off granularly.
The choice is saved in the technical cookie cookie_consent and is valid for 13 months. At any time you can change or withdraw your consent:
- reloading the page after deleting the
cookie_consentcookie from your browser; - through the native settings of your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).

5. Data collected with Meta Pixel and Google Signals
In accordance with the principle of data minimisation, the pixels and scripts activated after consent collect and process exclusively aggregated or pseudonymised data: estimated age and gender, interests (Google Signals), truncated or pseudonymised IP, device, operating system, page visited, time, event type (Page View, WhatsApp Click, Lead, Contact).
Transmission to the United States takes place under the protection of the EU-US Data Privacy Frameworkand the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF, or via Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK ICO. The user can at any time object to processing for marketing purposes by exercising the rights listed in the Privacy Policy or by changing the ad settings of Meta (facebook.com/ads/preferences) and Google (adssettings.google.com).
6. Google Maps review widgets and third-party integrations
The website may embed widgets or links to Google Maps (reviews, office maps, directions). Enabling them may involve third-party cookies managed directly by Google, according to the platform's policies. The user can disable their loading via the aforementioned browser settings or by refusing consent to the "Google Marketing" category in the banner.
